Bespoke Kitchens

I design and build bespoke kitchens in Oxfordshire, creating spaces that combine thoughtful design, practical functionality, and exceptional craftsmanship. A kitchen is often the heart of the home, and a bespoke approach ensures the space works beautifully for everyday living while reflecting the character of the house.

Unlike mass-produced kitchens, a bespoke kitchen is designed entirely around the room and the people who use it. Every element - from cabinetry and layout to materials and finishes - is carefully considered to create a space that feels exactly the way you want it to feel.

Designed Around the Way You Live

Every household uses its kitchen differently. Some spaces are designed primarily for cooking, while others act as social centres where family and friends gather. At Christoph Studio, I begin each project by understanding how the space will be used so the layout and storage can be tailored accordingly.

Bespoke kitchen design allows for complete flexibility. Cabinets can be sized precisely to suit the room, storage can be positioned exactly where it is needed, and the overall layout can be designed to improve movement and workflow within the space.

In many homes across Oxfordshire, kitchens must also respond to architectural features such as alcoves, uneven walls, or period details. Custom cabinetry allows these features to be integrated into the design rather than treated as obstacles.

Layout & Storage

A well-designed kitchen should make everyday tasks easier. I carefully plan storage so that everything has its place while maintaining a clean and uncluttered appearance.

Typical bespoke kitchen features may include:

  • Custom cabinetry designed to fit the exact dimensions of the room

  • Deep drawers for cookware and utensils

  • Integrated pantry cupboards for food storage

  • Open shelving for frequently used items

  • Built-in appliance housing

  • Concealed storage to maintain a clean visual appearance

Because every kitchen is made to measure, the layout can be refined to maximise both storage and usability.

Carefully selected materials.

I use high-quality materials selected for both durability and visual character. Natural timber, furniture-grade plywood, and carefully chosen veneers are often used to create cabinetry that feels warm and enduring.

The use of natural materials brings depth and texture to a kitchen while ensuring the cabinetry remains strong and long-lasting. Clean lines, balanced proportions, and simple detailing allow the materials themselves to become the defining feature of the space.

This approach creates kitchens that feel calm and refined, avoiding trends that may quickly become dated.
